I wanted to go up the top of the Vatican but we just didn't have enough time and never thought of buying tickets before getting to Italy... a lesson learnt... thank you for your enjoyable site... I am a late bloomer when it comes to travelling... I have many travelling years left in me yet... don't think I will get to all the places like you though... I will visit again... oh, I notice you don't have Uruguay on there.. I stayed in Carmelo... oh wait... I did see Montevideo - oh... thought I had been somewhere you hadn't... hehehe... thanks for the vacation...

Fliss,
Thanks a lot for your visit and comment. It seems that now you pay for the entry to the top of St. Peter. In 1975, I don't remember paying, but maybe we pais for the elevator to the roof, but then is a huge way up to the top... ;))
Now, Uruguay is not a strange place... ;))
