This door - Kopnena Vrata - was built in 1543. It seems they recreated the lions' head, but the stop sign seems to remain the same..."

PLITVICE LAKES - UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

The Plitvice Lakes were inscribed in the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE LIST IN 1979, just a few months before these pictures were taken.

SLOVENIA

For some unpredictable reason the camera broke down in Ljubliana, so there are no pictures from the Slovenian capital city. This seems a very good reason to return there, a project however not yet concluded!
